Values
Reference for every value type. New to values? Start with the concepts page.
Values hold the state of your world. If you have not done so yet, read Values and Local, Synchronized & Persisted first - each reference page below assumes you know the difference between the three kinds.
- BooleanAn on/off value - the workhorse behind toggles, feature switches and material swaps.
- ColorAn RGBA color value (optionally HDR) for lights, materials and UI.
- FloatA floating point number - volume, brightness, intensity and everything else on a slider.
- IntA whole number - option indices, counters and limits.
- StringA piece of text - announcements, names and messages.
- URLA VRCUrl for images, videos and remote text.
- Vector3A three component vector - positions, directions, scales or any three numbers.
- Texture2DA texture reference - typically the result of downloading an image.
- PresetsWrite a fixed value into a local or synchronized value at the press of a button.
